Meteorological station in Prague

Introduction

The experiment Meteorological station in Prague is the remote laboratory experiment, monitoring the temperature, the pressure and the intensity of sunshine in the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague at Klarov. It is not a weather station in its true meaning, as it should then comply with very strict Norms. The built experiment only shows that it is possible to monitor different physical variables with simple technical hardware and software and across the Internet. It is a typical task of a remote sensing, where the selected variables are only sampled at certain time intervals, measured and stored without any remote control of the process. More users may be connected to this experiment at a time. The task is accessible round o clock and it is free to access without any password or registration.
